The Erasmus+ project Culture and Art for Restorative Justice (CA4RJ) has been created in order to bring a strategic partnership of VET providers, cultural and art organisations from across Erasmus+ so that the power of art and restorative justice can be used to increase cultural awareness and thus contribute to the successful integration of migrant communities at one of the most challenging times for Europe. The project is funded by Erasmus+ and is coordinated by the RJ4All International Institute. The partners are Reframe House (UK), RESET (Cyprus), EDRA (Greece), IASIS (Greece), CIS (Spain), and CERA (Turkey).

CA4RJ managed to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals working with migrants through developing tools that emphasize how restorative justice and art can support migrant integration and enhance intercultural awareness.

This e-book is the ultimate pride and concluding result of the CA4RJ project. The e-book provides insights into the topic of migrant challenges during integration in host societies and the power of restorative justice and art in intercultural awareness and migrant integration. Overall, it brings together all the research, pilots, learning and findings of the project in each respective country of the consortium into one e-book, produced collectively by all project partners. Additionally, it integrates policy recommendations for national and EU policy makers and best practices from each country for those working with migrants.

This e-book is the longer version of a summary e-book that includes the summary key findings that we expand on here. This longer version includes chapters that were written in the partners’ national languages and apart from the national chapters and one comparative chapter, this version includes also the evaluation of the User Scrutiny Panel of the project.

This e-book is the first in the area, paving the way for Europe and is the biggest legacy of the project. The e-book is particularly useful to professionals working with migrants in different settings as it serves as a tool to integrate restorative justice and art into their service delivery.
